The Knights Futbol Club (Knights FC) mission
is to develop the playing proficiency of soccer players in Montgomery
County, Maryland. We emphasize a well rounded education of our coaches
in the sport so they can train each player with proficiency, purpose and
intensity.
Our training philosophy is to develop in each player a healthy
lifestyle, well shaped mind and motivational attitudes to maximize
physical and technical potential. We train our players in an
environment of good sportsmanship and
gamesmanship so they can learn the art of having fun and being
competitive.
We provide a broad range of soccer opportunities and a place for every
soccer player in four basic programs.
- An instructional program for pre-school and kindergarten age
children set on a methodology of playing short fun games.
- A development program focused on skills training using short
fun games for first and second graders.
- A classic program for teams U9 - U19 that compete in the
fall, winter and spring seasons.
- A travel premier program that plays year round for boys U9 –
U19, competing in the Olney Bethesda Soccer league, the Central
Maryland Short Sided league, and the National Capital Soccer league.
Players in this program travel to tournaments in NY, NJ, PA, MD, DC, VA, and NC.
